Is my policy out of date?

Enter the date you last reviewed each document. We show where CQC has updated its own guidance page for that document since, and which reviews are more than a year old. Free, no sign-up, nothing leaves your browser.

Read this first. This tool maps CQC's published guidance. It is not legal advice, it does not tell you whether you are compliant, and it is not run by or endorsed by CQC. Nothing you enter leaves your browser.
What the result means. A flag means CQC edited its guidance page for that document after your review date. It does not mean your policy is wrong, and a page date does not tell us what changed. Open the CQC link and re-check. No flag does not mean you are compliant. Real example: on 16 October 2026 CQC's pages for the staff training plan and evidence of legal occupancy showed a new date, but when we compared the text, the wording had not changed. CQC dates last checked by us on 16 October 2026.

Tip: set one date for everything first, then change the exceptions.

Who this is not for. Agencies outside England, and services other than home care and supported living: the CQC pages compared here are the home care and supported living ones.

Want to be told what changed, not just that something changed?

The upkeep plan includes a dated change log that says what changed on CQC's pages and which of your policies it touches. See prices Which documents do I need?
