What we collect
Your name, business name, email and billing details when you buy, and any message you send us. If you join the change-alerts list, your email and the time you joined. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not see or store card numbers.
What we use it for
To deliver your purchase, send receipts, and (on the upkeep plan) send updates. Change-alert emails are sent at most monthly and only about changes to CQC guidance; every one has an unsubscribe link. We do not sell your data.
Outreach
If we email you first, it is a one-off message to a limited company or LLP with a way to opt out, and we keep a do-not-contact list so we do not email you again.
The free tools
The document checker and policy age tool run in your browser. Ticks and dates are stored in your browser's local storage only and are never sent to us. This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. It counts page views with a tiny request that stores only the page address and an optional tag from the link you followed (for example which email batch it came from), added to a daily total. It does not store your IP address, browser details, referrer or any identifier. The embeddable widget sends nothing to us either.
Your rights
To ask for your data to be deleted or corrected, email hello@careupkeep.co.uk. Luke Rallings is the data controller; correspondence address: 44F Friarn Street, Bridgwater, TA6 3LJ. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
